I think these will be collectible, but only the best examples. I think it is because you cannot find parts for these cars and other rare JDMs like the Toyota Corolla GT-S AE86, whereas you can basically build a 1960s mustang or camaro from scratch there are so many parts made for them.

- What is this JDM mean? What is special about it?
- are you saying 1960s mustang or camaro have parts and therefore most of them will become collectibles?

dont think so. They are not as special as the rwd's, they are unique but thats about it.
The styling on the old muscle cars are timeless, the integra still had some of the boxiness of the 80's

JDM is Japanese Domestic Market. That means items that are native to Japan (not imported)

So these JDM engines are available through some dealers - enthusiasts get them and use it on their cars?
What is so special about these JDM compared to those that are exported to US market?
Are these JDM used engines?

The JDM motors are used, but much less so than american engines due to Japan's strict emissions laws. Most of these JDM engines are pulled at 40-60K miles only and have much life left. They are imported by several places and can be found all over eBay.
