SUSPENSION!
what do i need to lower my 87 integra rs about a inch and a half

You can toy with the torsion bar adjustment but that will only lower the front and worsen ride quality.

To do it correctly get a pair of 27.5mm Upgrade Motoring torsion bars (can be bought from Upgrade Motoring or heeltoeauto.com). You could get stiffer if you plan to auto-x it but 27.5mm is a good inbetween as long as your roads aren't terrible. You'll have to reindex the bars by filing a spline off the lower arm side and removing the keyway from the torsion tube itself. Then you can reindex the bars so that they are one tooth lower than stock.
For the rear I would recommend a set of either Ground Control Coilovers or a set of old Eibach lowering springs which pop up from time to time. Installation of the rear springs is pretty straight forward.
