If I disconnect the Alternator, will it prevent the car from Starting?
Also, I did not find a video of removing the Alternator - but looked at the manual.
Do you have any tips in removing the Alternator?

No. Need oil filter removed. Disconnect the alternator. Remove swing bolt and release tensioner. Grab alternator by pulley and rotate till it drops by the exhaust tube. Easy.

Are there clips on the electrical connectors?

There should be one on the green alternator connector on the wire harness. Part of the alternator. It's a squeeze metal clamp.

1) So you access and remove the alternator from the bottom?
2) Why the manuals says if necessary, remove the mounting bracket bolts, and the upper and lower mounting brackets?
How long does it take you to swap an alternator typically?
How do you guys go about when u have an alternator issue?
I needed one in 2003, then again within a year - I used remanuf one from locally.
Last 12 months, the shop worked on it 3 times or so - voltage regulator, diode - prob brushing - I get OEM parts for other repairs and the job get done - but alternator is being an ongoing issue - any place or parts that can solve the issue - RockAuto parts are good?
