I revised my original post - btw, there is no participation in this forum?
Batt new - Alternator was worked on - no more dash warning lights.
However, alternator fails test when the fan is turned at the high setting (it is fine at low setting)
Any of u had similar issues - does the fan speed controller/slider needs replacing? How easy is to get in there and to change?

I had a high output alternator installed years ago and seems fine under normal driving, but at idle, the battery light comes on. Best I can tell, when they serviced the alternator, they didn't use the proper voltage regulator. Suspect that may be your issue too. I took to dealer and they confirmed alternator was issue.. despite being brand new (aftermarket).
