1) My radiator is leaking a tad at the very top - lasted 30yrs
If you have any tips on buying or fixing it, pls let me know.
Checked rock auto and they have Spectra at $130
2) Peppper
Someone advised to put a spoon of pepper as it would block the leak
Any side effects in doing so?
Any other methos?
3) If I indeed change the radiator, should I also change Auto Tranny Coolant hose? These hoses are uncommon that you need to cut - it appears that these last a long time.

just replace the rad. Never heard anything about this pepper method. i would change the hoses

How many miles on the Radiator?

its had about 115k when i replaced it... the clips for which hoses?

Clips for the radiator hoses
My car originally had AC - does not work anymore - the thing that sits next to the radiator relating to the AC - can I get rid of it?

Are you referring to the group of 3 relays that mount near the overflow bottle?

Nope.
There must be another that looks like the radiator, sits parallel to the radiator - I am not sure if I saw that on my 3rd gen or this car.

Ahh. The condenser (looks like smaller radiator that sits in front of the radiator)? That's probably okay to remove, but you got to ask yourself if it's worth it. You're not going to do much weight savings by removing it.
