Acura NSX

Postby thebranded » January 17th, 2015, 1:37 am

After what seems like years upon years, and concepts upon concepts, we finally have a new, real, Acura NSX. And it's Japan's answer to the future of speed.

Once Again, The Acura NSX Targets Ferrari For A Fraction Of The Price
It's been kind of a while since we've heard anything about the upcoming 2015 Acura NSX,…

How much speed is actually a huge question, at the moment, as Acura isn't throwing out any concrete numbers just yet. But last time we checked, Acura was swinging for the fences, talking about Ferrari 458-levels of velocity. And the 458 is the opposite of what you would call a slouch.

Though in traditional Acura form, they're aiming for the value segment. Well, as "value" as you could get, considering it is bound to be a brutally quick mid-engined sports car, so we're talking somewhere in the $150,000 price range. And that'll get you a twin-turbo V6, a three-electric motor "sport hybrid" system, and a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission.

I dont like the interior, too much red and plastic. And the side scopes are too similar to the R8, but happy to see a NSX.

I don't like the rear end of it.... looks too much like the TL and RL... too round for my taste.

eventually all cars will be hybrids or full electric. we are lucky enough to be in the transition of it and can see the best of both worlds.

When it's only hybrid or electric, I quit driving!
So I hope my Teg will last a long long time! :P

I say bring on the hybrids and electrics - that way the oil will last longer and I can keep driving my Teg! So as more and more move to the hybrid/electric our cars will become a choice rather than a necessity. It worked for horses - still around but as pets/hobbies in a lot of the world now whereas 100 years ago they where more of a necessity......so encourage your friends and families to save the oil so we can use it!
