On the front side of the engine, jusy below the Cam Timer sensor attached to the end of the exhaust cam there should be a flat area on the block. On that area there should be either a stamped "ZC" or "D16A1" with the serial number of the block below. Maybe covered with dirt. :geek:

Then it's a single overhead cam Honda engine made for EDM, AUDM, JDM and other places not northern hemisphere. Like Canada and the US. Your's probably has a carburetor also.

Yep, SOHC, 12 Valve Carb. ;)
D15A1 is a rebadged EW1 with the new type valve cover. It has CVCC :P So actually, the engine is older than the Teg :P

...But I have a swapped motor :D
