Power antenna?

This may be a up comming project. I plan on useing a power antenna unit out of a 3rd gen Accord. I like the manual switch so that it prevents the motor from running every time the car goes off. Put it down when you want. I couldn't think of a better place to put the switch. It must have been thought of by Honda, of that I'm sure.

Problem with power antennas, they always break.

Think about it. What isn't greater than a phallic projection popping out everytime you turn on the radio for all to see?

Do you see power antennas anymore? Never

I still use a factory stereo and use the radio the whole 600 mile a week commute to work and back in the black Se in the midle. Most listen to staitions are 710 AM,1000 AM, 89.5 FM, and 99.9 FM. Seattle staitions.

Hey!!! At my age it's the thought of phalicness that keeps me rolling  Besides, the trout rod has been replaced by the steel head caber. BTW, instead of poking holes in the teg body, how about doing a rear bumper mount. :?: That would offset your next teg project of the JDM front bumper retracting parking pole. :P

Actually the Accord power antenna looks just like the Teg manual one only it has the retractor motor under the dash. No need for extra holes in ther body.
