1988 SE Partout

Postby ProjectIntegra89 » January 27th, 2014, 10:37 pm

Hi All,

I snagged this the other day (quite possibly before it went to the crusher) and have decided to part it out. I am in need of the motor on this car, so that is not for sale. I will also probably keep a few other things, but let me know what you need/want and shoot me an offer on parts. Car will be around for ~2 weeks.

PLEASE BEAR WITH ME ON SHIPPING! I work and travel quite a bit, but I promise i will do the best I can to get parts out.

SOLD ITEMS:
Motor
Bumper lights

Pics of the car:

Rear disc? I'd be interested in the mounting plates for the rear calipers, and the brake proportioning valve.

Steering wheel is in pretty good shape I believe. The car only has 46k on it believe it or not... Only issue was it was never washed since 88 and parked outside in a dirt carport in NH.. so it rusted. I was actually thinking about keeping the wheel for one of my cars... but shoot me an offer.

As far as the brakes go, I am very willing to sell those but can you wait a couple weeks? Reason being is i need to keep the car a rolling shell with brakes so i can get it on a trailer and transport it to a barn in NY. This should be happening the weekend of Feb 8th.

How much for the auto shifter assembly and handle? This should be the pistol grip setup for the SE. Also interested in the drivers side door handle that hold the switches for the power windows. Don't need the switched, but the armrest/handle I am. Thx.

I would be interested in the bump strips (both sides) on the doors. Also the clips on the top of the rear windshield that hold the trip piece on. Both pieces if they are unbroken. Colin

Most likely will be keeping the bump strips, but the clips on the rear windshield I can get for you. I think i tried to grab a bunch for you on the other car I parted out too...

I'm actually in southern California right now on business and was going to stop up and look at it tonight. Did you already buy it?

I was considering driving it home if it's legit and seems like it could make the trip. If you are buying it, I could still go up and check if there are any issues not mentioned in the ads and let you know. I am a bit nervous since it looks like it was just brought in from Arizona and it's listed for sale already.

Yeah it's a done deal. Shipper should be picking it up as we speak. I wish i would have came across this site sooner. haha. I would have love to have someone out there looking at it, esp someone like you who knows about the car. Oh well...will be fun. I had an 87 RS as my first car back in 93. Had it for 5 years, so been looking to snatch one up and all the ones around here are always rusted to heck. So decided to go out of my comfort zone, hopefully it pays off. I guess this is my way of going through my mid life crisis.

Only thing the guy stated was ac blows cool, not cold. He replaced thermostat and did coolant flush. Clutch is a little tight but shifting is good. Said it's ready to drive, no history on maintenance though. Guy apparently does alot of buying and selling all across the US.

Thanks for offering to take a look, i would have definitely taken you up on it!

Sweet, let us know how it turns out! Glad to know you're back in an Integra. I had a 1988 5-door as my first car back in '00, but I have a 1986 RS project now.

I guess I'm still on the lookout for an SE of my own. I'm partial to the black ones though, so I can be patient.
