1988 engine
I want to but another engine for my Teg. Any ideas of a good honest place? I know there a lot coming out of Japan but have no idea if they are ok or not.

I have an 89 black top with 271K attached to a CG 5speed trans for sale here north of Seattle. The bad? Well the pressure plate gave out so I just pulled the whole assembly. LMK.

1988 engine
after install of long tube headers had 2nd o2 sensor tuned out. know engine light comes on but no codes on scan. any ideas?

No codes stored is a faulty 10 amp fuse on the positive battery terminal. Unfortunately, a lot of folks have by passed this. Check to make sure your battery terminals are stock and not bypassed.
