SE Spoiler Restoration

I am in the middle of restoring my SE at the moment and was spending some time researching if it is possible to restore our rubber spoilers and I came across this neat thread for an old school BMW Alpina rubber spoiler. I wanted to get everyone's input and see if this was a possible thing we could do our fading/cracked spoilers.

Wow... that looks amazing. I've tried to sand mine down before with a sander and it began working. Obviously I didn't do this many steps. But that looks like it works great! Thanks for sharing, I'll have to try that.
