Mugen wing

Postby Mikakey » July 27th, 2014, 7:53 pm

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried or did paint their Mugen wing. I know the wing is made out of a foam material and didnt even know if you could? Every wing I have seen on this site has been original black and I am curious on this.
This one is painted: http://www.kingmotorsports.com/blog/post/Mugen-First-Gen-Integra-5-Door.aspx
Of course that was Honda's model for the Mugen setup so they could have built whatever the hell they wanted to.
Also worth noting that I would be in the market for one if someone had one. :P

They are all painted. Not many raw ones out there. I have them in white, red and black.

I'm also interested in one if the price is reasonable.

Not for sale sadly as I own multiple cars. And took me forever to find them.

Understandable. Please keep us in mind if you ever decide to sell!

Mine was never painted until I bought it and repaired the cracks. I painted it with Plasti Dip black paint five years ago and it still looks great.

I never thought of that. Plastic dip would be great to paint with

I did that to my SE that was getting chewed up by the sun on top. It's been on for 2 years so far and still looks great.

I have a dmax bootlip and roof wing both yet to be painted. Personally the origin lips look like shit and are barely noticeable. Fitment is perfect from DMAX.
