removing rear quarter panel glass

Postby qikteg » June 21st, 2014, 9:23 pm

Has anybody done this? I have rust underneath the lower trim which will need repairing and I'm confident that if I attempt to weld with the glass in place that it'll crack.

Any tricks to removal? Will heat soften the gasket?

Piano wire. And lightly apply heat.
